Brad Gregory started to play the saxophone at age 13. He went on to play in various community concert bands and jazz big bands in his native Edmonton, Canada. Brad majored in Jazz Performance at the University of North Texas where he was a member of the world famous One O’Clock Jazz Band. From Texas he moved to New York City to pursue his dream of being a professional jazz musician.
After starting a family, Brad landed in a full time career in the plastics industry but never lost his love for jazz and performance. Over the years he continued to play in a variety of jazz bands. He has performed with the likes of Bob Crosby, Myron Floren, Les Elgart as well as various groups under his own name. More recently since moving to Kansas City he has been a member of the Boulevard Big Band, New Vintage Big Band, Tim Doherty’s Nine Plus One and now the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra.
