Tim Cambron began playing drums as a child in Omaha, Nebraska and received his B.M. in percussion performance at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Tim has quietly emerged as Kansas City’s first call drummer for small group and big band settings. His subtle touch but at the same time, his ability to explode within a matter of beats along with his flawless reading skills, have made Tim highly sought after.  He has become one of Kansas City’s most sought after educators as well.

Over the years he has studied and recorded and performed with a variety of luminaries, including Ari Hoenig, John Riley, Carl Allen, Steve Houghton, Ralph Peterson, Stan Kessler, Michael Carvin, Todd Strait, Lewis “Luigi Waites, Bobby Watson, Clay Jenkins, Mike Melvion, Bob Bowman, Bill Caldwell, Rob McConnell, and Tim Hagans. Tim enjoys not only performing and recording, but sharing his love for and experience with music through teaching.
